Port and logistics innovation. Food for thought and perspectives based on current scenarios

This paper aims to draw a first when general and a balance sheet of the importance of innovation in the Blue Economy, with particular attention to the perspective of logistics, starting from the challenges affecting the world related most directly to shipping. 
The advent of technologies has generated profound changes within many sectors of the Blue Economy: the industry related to ports, shipping and logistics has not remained indifferent, and certainly cannot be immune, to this process of technological and energy revolution. 
After a scenario paragraph, we emphasized some aspects related to the innovation supply chain and then delved into the Digitization of the National Port Logistics System project.
